Lights for Fishermen
During the month of July we were able to give out over 100 lights to fishermen in the East.
Some of these men travel great distances to get to work and start before the sun rises (it is too hot during that day). It can be quite dangerous due to road accidents, snake bites, elephant attacks etc, so these men are risking their lives to get to work. Giving them lights enables them to remain as safe as possible.
A team visiting from Perth were able to go with Narel to hand out the lights and the fishermen greatly appreciated the gift. These lights will not only help the men but their entire families. If the men remain safe they are able to provide for their families.
